Caesar-kastike
150g parmesaani juustoa
2 rkl valkoviinietikkaa
250g majoneesia
3 rkl Dijon-sinappia
2 sardelli-filettä
1 valkosipulin kynsi
ripaus suolaa ja pippuria
Raasta parmesaani ja sekoita yhteen etikan kanssa tehosekoittimessa. Lisää majoneesi, sinappi, sardelli sekä murskattu valkosipulin kynsi. Aja hienoksi sekoittimessa ja mausta suolalla (jos tarvii) ja pippurilla.
Yesterday night we just made a quick Caesar salad. I fried couple of bacon rashers until crispy, cut the chicken fillets into bite size pieces and fried in a pan with some salt and pepper, and whisked together really quick Caesar-dressing. I poured the dressing over Romaine lettuce leaves, tossed it in, and served on the plates. I topped the salad with the chicken and bacon, and scattered some parmesan shavings on top. I hope you excuse the horrible picture, but I can tell you that the salad was really nice!
Caesar dressing
150g parmesan cheese
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
250g mayonnaise
3 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 anchovy fillets
1 garlic clove
pinch of salt and pepper
Grate the parmesan and mix it together with the vinegar in a food processor. Add the mayo, mustard, anchovies and the crushed garlic. Mix it to a sauce, and season it with salt (only if needed) and pepper.
