Squid Salad with Mint and Coriander



Suoraan Rick Steiniltä otettu mustekala-salaatin resepti. Oli niin hyvää että meillä meni vadillinen salaattia hetkessä ja kastikkeen rippeet vielä erikseen lusikasta hörpittynä. Paahdettu riisi oli ihan jännä lisä, ja lisäsin kastikkeseen hieman soijakastiketta tuomaan ihan vähän lisää makua. Ja olisiko ehkä aika ostaa uusi tarjoilu-astia? Kyseinen kupari-vati taitaa olla täällä miltein joka toisessa kuvassa...

Recipe for this Squid salad was taken straight from Rick Stein at Saturday Kitchen. It was so nice that we demolished a bowlful of salad in a minute and even slurped the left-over dressing with a spoon happily afterwards. Roasted rice was a nice touch and I added some soy sauce to the dressing to bring some more depth. Do you think it's time to get a new serving dish? This copper one seems to be in every other picture here...

  1. Looks delicious!! Never would have thought of squid as a good ingredient for a salad with mint and coriander but seems like a good combination.
